Should this article not be renamed Chennai, India? In its last appearance, the city was clearly labelled as Chennai. --Conspiracy Unit 10:15, 3 October 2007 (EDT)

  • In its first appearance, it was labeled Madras, which is a bit disappointing because the city had already been renamed in 1996, long before Heroes showed up. I don't have any strong opinion one way or the other, as long as "Chennai" and "Madras" both direct to the same article.--Hardvice (talk) 14:09, 3 October 2007 (EDT)
    • Well, I kinda do. I think it should be Chennai. That's what it's known as in the modern world, and in Heroes. --Conspiracy Unit 07:24, 15 October 2007 (EDT)

        • Of course, the University was also called "The University of Madras" in Genesis--and in fact, in the real world, it's still the University of Madras (at Chennai), since they didn't bother to change their name when the city did. But I think since the only references to it as "Madras" are from the first few episodes, we're probably OK to change it to "Chennai".--Hardvice (talk) 13:58, 15 October 2007 (EDT)
