Power Speculations?

Well, he was in Level 5, so he must have had a power. Since there are sure to be more important characters to come, we may not get a tracker, so let's get guessing - just for kicks, of course. Two things I noticed just to get this started:

  • Is it just me or do his black eyes just scream 'poison emission'?
  • Those blue puddles around the bodies don't look like blood, so that might be a hint.

    • The puddles look purple to me, and I think they're meant to be related to the chlorine gas the agents most likely inhaled. His ability could be poison emission, though... the eyes are a sign that that could be his ability, but they're not a confirmation.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:34, 4 November 2008 (EST)
      • Just worth noting - Noah hasn't any ability and he was in Level 5... there might very well have been more old fashioned humans there. (With that said - I *do* think that he had one.) --Pierre 16:39, 4 November 2008 (EST)
      • The purple blood could be due to the presence of chlorine. Wikipedia says that blood in a vacuum (blood with no oxygen) has a purplish color. The artist could have used that notion to allude to a power that would kill someone from lack of oxygen. Dracomaster4 22:20, 4 November 2008 (EST)
        • Is he going to be categorized as human or evolved human? The black eyes are a give away as evolved human to me. Intuitive Empath 04:38, 5 November 2008 (EST)
          • The question is weather or not he has any know powers (key word being known). Which he hasn't. Which puts him into Category:Humans. The general rule is to assume everyone regular humans until proven not. --Pierre 04:57, 5 November 2008 (EST)
      • Oh yeah, forgot about Noah! Anyway, I wouldn't know about the blood being purple - I'm colorblind. But if Sylar and the other two could breathe, there should be enough oxygen in the air to turn the blood red. --Yamawhata? 17:07, 5 November 2008 (EST)

I have to say that poison emission is the most likely assumption for me right now, but as said; normal until proven a freak. -- FlamingTomDude 12:19, 11 November 2008 (EDT)

        • for the record, blood is only blue in the absence of IRON, and presence of COPPER, oxygen just determines the shade (blood red/Dark red) --Max 04:21, 25 December 2008 (EST)

my guess is Deoxygenation despite dennis's eyes looking like he has poison emission, the dead agents with purple blood maybe the working of his power--Zoga78 17:31, 6 March 2009 (EST)

  • Although very probable, it is speculative to say that Dennis has powers. There have been Level 5 prisoners who didn't have powers, and Dennis never clearly demonstrated any powers. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:19, 25 February 2010 (EST)
    • Black eyes are certainly an indicator, even if he doesn't end up doing anything. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 21:26, 25 February 2010 (EST)
      • An indicator, but not confirmation. He could have very large pupils. The unofficial side of me says he's totally an evolved human. But the stodgy, official side of me says it's unconfirmed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:56, 25 February 2010 (EST)

dennis st johns?

i 'm just wondering if rachel could be his wife? maybe his last name is st johns?--Zoga78 17:33, 6 March 2009 (EST)

Listing purposes

Much like some characters in the List, couldn't we list him as an evolved human with an unknown ability? Kinda like we did with some Company founders who were in the list? It's very obvious he has an ability, we just don't know which ability. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:24, 5 November 2009 (EST)

  • I think it's worthing noting in a Note section. Pointing out that he has abnormal color eyes, a prisoner of Level 5, and leading a gang of evolve humans suggest he's one himself. Just never confirmed. --OutbackZack 10:10, 27 February 2010 (EST)
    • The reason we listed the founders as having (unknown) abilities is because Bob said in The Second Coming that all the founders had abilities. Not all Level 5 escapees have abilities. We can put something in the notes so long as we don't suggest that he does have an ability...only that there is evidence for it, but it's unconfirmed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:06, 27 February 2010 (EST)
