Ernie's gun-rest Briefcase = The money?

  • Ok work with me on this... In Graphic Novel:Stolen Time, we know that it would take ~ six months to launder the money. If we work on the hypothesis that Ernie is the money launderer, then the briefcase he may have under the table is the money. We know from Episode:Better Halves that Jessica sneaks out during the night and kills Ernie and the other players. That would be the opportunity for her to take the briefcase, bring it home, and hide it in the attic. I guess that we need to see if the briefcase seen in this scene is the same one used in Episode:Fallout, etc. --Orne 15:41, 9 January 2007 (EST)
    • Yes, most likely - I always suspected that that's why Jessica came to the poker game when she did - to pick up the money. I never made the connection with the gun though - good insight! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:47, 9 January 2007 (EST)
    • I thought the same ... but it's not the same gun. Ernie's is a revolver. The gun with the money is a PPK. It looks like the same briefcase, though.--Hardvice (talk) 16:27, 9 January 2007 (EST)
      • Do you think you could fill in the approx. make/model like the other Category:Weapons? That's not my specialty. --Orne 18:14, 9 January 2007 (EST)
        • I know frighteningly little about revolvers, but I'll ask the household Gun Expert when he gets home.--Hardvice (talk) 18:30, 9 January 2007 (EST)
          • Based on the shape of the trigger guard and what looks like an unsupported ejector rod (I can't tell for sure, the picture is kinda blurry), I'm going to guess that Ernie's gun is a Colt Agent in 38. special. However, given the angle of the one glimpse that we get of the gun and the fact that all snubnose 38s look very similar, it is hard to be sure. On the subject of who's gun is fired during the fight, one can clearly hear empty cartages hitting the ground after the last two shots. This would indicate that the gun that fired those shots was an automatic (like Jessica's gun) and not a revolver. But it is not uncommon for TV shows/movies to make the mistake of adding the sound of ejecting cartages when revolvers are fired. SirBob42 13:40, 8 March 2007 (EST)
