Quentin explicitly states that she has "umbrakinesis" (it states it on her evo card).

The Soul/Psyche

Despite, this ability is to do with shadow and manipulating light, could the shadow be connect to the soul/psyche in the hero's universe which would negate abilities--Masterofgravity (talk) 07:37, 23 October 2015 (EDT)

  • I think the majority of the abilities we see in Heroes and Heroes Reborn are somehow connected to the person's character, their soul, their psyche, their emotions, or however you want to put it. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:50, 23 October 2015 (EDT)
    • I ask, because the ability itself seem strange to stop abilites, In heroes people were still able to use their ability; this was proven by Sylar killing the wrong Cheerleader rather then Claire.--Masterofgravity (talk) 19:44, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Power negation?

  • Has any official source mentioned how this power negates other abilities and disrupts electronics? And, if anyone is actually able to interview the writers (fingers crossed), is it possible to see if her power doesn't just redirect/absorb light, but other forms of energy to some degree? Eclipse

The frequency of eclipses is uncommon, so is this ability causing the eclipses, when Queitin was seeking Phoebe, in presequal there was a eclipse. --Masterofgravity (talk) 19:55, 29 October 2015 (EDT)

Umbrakinesis vs. Mental Manipulation

I was half expecting this to happen. What would happen? Both would cancel each other? One would win over the other? Or just a matter of "who strikes first"? Sandubadear (talk) 20:19, 24 January 2016 (EST)

  • I think it would be just a matter of who struck first, very much like the situation of Matt Parkman's telepathy vs. The Haitian's mental manipulation in Sunstone Manor.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:38, 24 January 2016 (EST)
