• To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the Summary field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.

Ability immunity

Hey Climby. I reverted your edits on ability immunity, because a consensus on this wiki decided that Arthur had actually manifested a powerful form of telepathy, which is what he used to make Angela forget her own memories in Villains. -- Tristan0709 talk 04:10, 26 March 2009 (EDT)

Hey there, Climby! Thanks for recently uploading some images to Heroes Wiki! A few notes about standard image uploading. You'll want to take a look at the standard size chart so you'll know how big images should be. Generally, you're pretty good if most images are 450x350. Character portraits should be 200x250. You'll also want to make sure that the image page has a description with links, a source (if it's a screenshot, the name of the episode is fine), and a fair use statement (otherwise we're in danger of violating our license). You can do this pretty easily by using a template. For instance,

James Martin shape shifts to look like Sylar.

will properly link and describe the file, create a fair use statement, place the image in the correct categories, and will include a source for the image. Take a look at some other pre-existing images to get a better idea. If you need more help or have a question about this, feel free to leave a message for me on my talk page. Thanks! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:20, 31 March 2009 (EDT)

  • I'd like to remind you about this again. You haven't done this with your recently uploaded images, and if you did, it would save us some big work. Thanks. --Radicell 06:26, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

Cockney Heroes

Hi there Climby, myself, Irony and Gabriel Bishop have created a fanfic called Cockney Heroes, we have created a competition and were wondering if you would like enter. You may want to read our fanfic first to see what you think, the first three episodes can be found here and details of the competition can be found here. Thanks :) --posted by Laughingdevilboy Talk 10:11, 10 April 2009 (EDT)

red links

Hey, Climby. You have a bunch of links on your user page and User:Climby21023/Super Intelligence that were creating red links. I nowiki-ed them so they won't create red links. You can modify it however you'd like, but please make sure you don't create red links for pages that aren't truly wanted. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:35, 11 April 2009 (EDT)

Helpful hint

I noticed you seem to be editing the same page several times. I just wanted to remind you there is a preview button next to the save button which allows you to view the page before saving this is a much easier option as the code stays at the bottom of the screen so you can edit it till it works :) thanks --posted by Laughingdevilboy Talk 11:46, 16 April 2009 (EDT)

Image categories

Hi, Climby. Thank you very much for uploading so many images today! Please remember that when you upload an image, you should also categorize the image. You can do this very simply through the image-screenshot template. For instance, if you upload an image from Hysterical Blindness and it's of Peter using his power, you can simply put after the image's description, and all the categories will be taken care of for you. This will help other editors so they don't have to go back and "clean up" images that are missing categories. Categories help so that other editors can find the great images you upload. If you need me to clarify anything or explain anything more, please let me know, and I'll be glad to do so. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:42, 13 October 2009 (EDT)

  • Thanks so much for doing so! --Radicell 06:23, 20 October 2009 (EDT)

Image sources

Hi, Climby. When you have time, could you please add sources to the following images? Image:Duplication_Fan.jpg, Image:Big_Snake.jpg, Image:Kozuv.jpg, Image:Rod.jpg, Image:Life_detection.JPG, and Water manipulation Fan image.jpg. All you have to do is go to the image page, click "edit", and add the URL of the website that you got the image from. If you created the image by yourself, just add "Source: User:Climby21023". If you don't source these images, they'll be deleted since uncredited images are not allowed on the site. --Radicell 08:56, 7 November 2009 (EST)

  • Note:after you have added the source, you may remove the afd tag. --Radicell 09:27, 7 November 2009 (EST)

I was just looking at your favorite graphic novels and saw that Libertad wasn't linked right (it's auto linked to rebel if someone types in linbertad, dont know why) and took the liberty to fix it for ya. If you didn't want me to fix it i'm sorry that i did.-- Yoshi | Talk | Contributions 11:17, 30 November 2009 (EST)
