* Sometimes we forget to update the UK episode of the week on the main page quickly enough, so if you happen to be around here after Heroes airs and want to update it, feel free.  The template to update is [[Template:aotw-uk|here]] and you just replace the old episode name with the new episode name where it appears in the template. == Redirects ==

* Before adding a large number of redirects like that, it's a good idea to discuss it first just to make sure it's necessary and people are in agreement.  Otherwise they may get deleted and it only wasted your time. :)  For instance I don't think we need those redirects nor should we ever use them.  We refer to episodes by their name for clarity; referring to an episode by "season 1 episode 3" makes it more difficult to identify the episode. ** Yeah I agree that they may never be linked like that in an article, but I think it makes it easier for people who don't know the name of an episode to find it, rather than going to the season page then finding the episode. Hey, FM--you've been working hard today! :) Here's a quick tip for your signature, though it's in no way mandatory. You might want to consider making an "{{nowantedlink|User:Friskymuffin/Autosig|text=autosig|red=t}}" page in addition to your [[User:Friskymuffin/Sig|sig]] page. All you would do is place <code><nowiki>{{User:Friskymuffin/Sig}}</nowiki></code> on the page, and then change your [[special:preferences|preferences]] so your nickname says <code><nowiki>{{SUBST:User:Friskymuffin/Autosig}}</nowiki></code>. == Slicing ==
Hi, thanks for welcoming me. I did think of the possibility that telekinesis caused the slicing. But I thought there wasn't as much evidence in favor of it rather than the possibilities of it being a separate ability. I should've known that there'd be a discussion on new pages, can I ask where this section is? Again thank you and sorry. Rybo
* I can see where you're coming from, and I partly agree, but like I said I think for now we have to accept that the show points to telekinesis being the weapon of choice for brain removal. There isn't a specific page for discussing new pages (as far as I know), but if you thought we should have a slicing page, you could comment on the [[Talk:Telekinesis|telekinesis talk page]], [[Talk:Sylar|Sylar talk page]], [[Talk:Brain removal|brain removal talk page]], or even create a talk page for slicing by creating the page Talk:Slicing. I wouldn't do this now seeing as slicing isn't a confirmed ability, but in future one of these methods would be the best for creating a new page you think we might need, if you see what I mean.

****I went ahead and removed that after Admin deleted the slicing page, seeing as it's no longer relevant. You don't need to make a signature because it will automatically appear as it has above, with a link to your page. But you can custom make one, if you need more help with that then I can give you some tips, it is rather nice to have a unique signature! Also, when you add a comment to a talk page, make sure you add a little star (<nowiki>*</nowiki>) so that it indents your comment. Each star is the number of replies, so if you leave the third comment (as above) go ahead and put two stars before your message. == Abilities with multiple users ==

I'm pretty sure [[List of abilities with multiple users|this list]] is about abilities with multiple users that appeared naturally, not abilities that were repeated due to power mimicking/absorption (in fact, the article mentions "''Aside'' from abilities which are mimicked or stolen..."), otherwise we would have to add [[melting]], [[phasing]], [[space-time manipulation]], [[enhanced hearing]], etc to the list. * Ahh I see what you mean. To be honest I hadn't seen that notice before, and I presumed that because it showed abilities that Peter and Sylar had absorbed, it meant any ability that more than one person could use. == Faraday ==

* I love Faraday, too.  I didn't realize until pretty recently that he was the squirrely guy in Saving Private Ryan.  Faraday is awesome because he helps reveal some of the odd secrets about the island.  With the exception of the Dharma scientists I don't know who else would understand it as well as he. ** Oh i didn't know that either! But I haven't seen that film in a while. Yeah I like him 'cause he seems really intelligent and he does reveal a lot of secrets and stuff, and he also seems rather unusual and eccentric, I don't know what it is, but I just can't help but love him. I believe anything in a preview clip or elsewhere is a spoiler. Official policy, last I checked, is to confine all spoiler material, discussion of it, and specualtion on it (including previews) to the [http://heroeswiki.com/index.php?title=Special%3AAllpages&from=&namespace=104 Spoiler namespace] and only there. I know that you have modified spoiler stuff at [[Theory:Peter Petrelli]]. Spoilers in the theory space is one of the things I dread when I'm patrolling. In your future browsings at the theory space, would you mind clearing all spoilers and speculation based on previews out of there, please. Hello, Friskymuffin. I am a Wikipedia editor who while recently doing a little research noted an article that you created here. The article in question is Manon Dave, who the article credits as the Season 2 Composer for Heroes. The correct composer credits for the series are Lisa Coleman and Wendy Melvoin- Manon Dave appears to be a musician on Myspace attempting to pad his resume by falsifying articles on sites with user-submitted content. If you would like to correct the information and/or delete the page, or alternately if you can find any corroborating information to show that Manon Dave is indeed associated with the show, please let me know, as it means that I would be in error. * Hey there, thanks for your message :) I never actually found out that Dave was part of the ''Heroes'' team, I saw we needed a page doing for him here so I created one based on any information I could find. He was already credited with being composer for [[Season Two]], I simply made the page. It's an interesting query though, having checked around the net I've found snippets suggesting a couple of his songs have been on the show, and one unverified claim that he was indeed the composer. I'll have to check where we got the information from in the first place, to see if he was in fact a composer for [[Season Two]] or not. * Thanks for the help. I think it's archived by now, but there's a small discrepancy with the dates and difference in time during the first season's timeline. It's a pain, but in ''Five Years Gone'', Mohinder gives a date when Peter met Future Hiro. However, the date doesn't correspond with some other dates that are concrete. The main reason for this is the assumption that all events in an episode are happening simultaneously and in the same day. It's just me being nit-picky, but it's nothing too bad. It's been resolved for the most part, so it's not pertinent. The things on my to-do list that need help anytime soon are season two summaries (see some of the season one summaries for examples) and cleaning up all the theory pages (a lot of them are pretty bad). * Okay, I see - in fact I saw that episode the other day and did notice the date didn't seem quite right. I'll give some of the season two summaries a go when I have chance though, so I'll check out some examples and do what I can. A few weeks ago I went through all the theory pages and gave them a (albeit not very thorough) clean up, fixing the <nowiki><br> tags to <br /></nowiki> and adding punctuation and correcting links and spelling where needed. But I didn't really look through much of the content, so that will probably need going over again. I'd be happy to do bits of that as well. **Sounds good. The cleanup in the theories pages was what I was talking about. Misspellings, grammar, punctuation and br tags (thanks for that btw). As for content, the one thing that appears a lot is debates, which belong on the talk page. If there's point/counterpoint over and over, but neither is a note to the theory, then it should be removed. I'll probably hit up some of the season two summaries as well. Thanks for the info on the British flag! I read on your page that you live in England. I live in London. Where do you live? I also love England (yes, even the weather). it can be rainy sometimes, but I love it anyway. I'm looking forward to 2009, when Lost premires again. Wonder what happened to Dan Faraday. He was in the middle of the ocean in the Zodic raft with a couple other redshirts. I think the island has a wide perimeter, so it's possible he traveled with it.
